16 patients died due to swine flu in HP this year: Vipin Parmar

In Himachal Pradesh, sixteenpatients died due to swine flu this year. Health Minister Vipin Parmar informedthe State Assembly today. In his suo motu statement soon after question hour,Mr Parmar said most of swine flu patients who had lost their lives weresuffering from other ailments too. He said a total of 113 patients haveso far tested positive for swine flu. Kangra district with 36 patients reportedthe highest number of cases followed by 33 cases in Shimla.

The Minister said adequatearrangements have been made in the state hospitals to handle swine flu.  (AIR)
