Damascus: At least 30 people were killed when twin bombings rocked a Shia district south of Syria's capital Damascus on Sunday.
The bombings took place at the Sayyidah Zaynab district, where a key Shia shrine is located, Xinhua news agency reported.
According to authorities, the toll is likely to increase.
The shrine is protected by members of the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah group. (IANS)
