Hyderabad, March 4 (IANS) The son of a Andhra Pradesh minister has been embroiled in a controversy after he was accused of harassing a woman here.

A woman on Friday lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police station that Ravela Kishore, son of Andhra Pradesh's Social Welfare Minister Ravela Kishore Babu, misbehaved with her on Road Number 13, Banjara Hills on Thursday evening.

Kishore, who was allegedly in an inebriated condition, caught hold of the hand of the woman, who was walking on the road. His driver Appa Rao was at the wheels.

The relatives of the woman alleged that police were not taking action against the accused. They demanded immediate arrest of the minister's son.

Police said they will take necessary action after investigation. (IANS)
