Beijing: Chinese football side Beijing Guo'an on Wednesday announced the signing of Turkish international striker Burak Yilmaz from Turkish club Galatasaray.

The fee for the transfer was reported to be 8 million euros ($8.91 million), reports Xinhua.

Yilmaz, 31, has earlier played for Turkish clubs Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor. He moved to Galatasary in 2012.

At Galatasary, he scored 82 goals in 141 appearances and helped the team win two league titles.

The two-time top scorer of Turkish league scored 19 goals for his national team after making his debut in 2006.

Yilmaz became the fourth foreign signing for Guo'an following Yegor Krimets from Uzbekistan and Brazilian mid-fielders Renato Augusto and Ralf. (IANS)
