news

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is considering to revamp the existing paper pattern of the class 10 and 12 board examination from the next academic year.

The plan also includes conducting vocational exams in the month of February and ending the board exams by end of March. The aim is to complete the examination process in time so that the results can be released in early May or last week of April without any delay.

According to a HRD official, the board wants to focus on testing the conceptual and critical thinking of the students. Also, the question paper would include more short answer questions of 1 to 5 marks. (AIR)
