There were lots of expectation and anticipation regarding this. Anurag Kashyap directing a heart out love story, what will we get from 'Manmarziyaan'? Anurag Kashyap Version 2.0? Yeah! Here we have a new anuraag. So, there is no slice of earlier version of Anuraag? Again, yeah! You will get the real AK in Vicky Kaushal. From his character framing to execution it's typically signature Anuraag but what about Tapsee and AB? 'इश्क नजरिया, घिसे-पिटे बार्सन को अपडेट मार दिया'। Really watching these prodigious triad onscreen is a bliss. Kashyap pulled himself off from his comfort zone and finally stepped into a new forte and he made it happen like no one else. He made this trigonal lovestory less antithetical rather more realistic in a disconcerting way. Kanika Dhillon, what a story and what a cutting-edge screenplay! Do we have any recent exemplars of bolly love storied with this kind of layered and tailor made screenplay? I don't think so. The way three characters several times confronted ethics over vehemence are the obelisk of this bridge of love. Sylvester Fonseca transcends with the lens and surgeon Aarti Bajaj made it worthy a lot. Dhiman Karmakar you are commendable in designing the sound. Amit Trivedi, you chucked it man. What a bgm and music you delivered! 'Manmarziyaan' wouldn't have been completed without you. In this film music played a character of a travellers' wagon and the characters are mere commuters. Fearless Taapsee aka Rumi is peerless here. Definitely she is a prominent threat to all her colleagues. Vicky aka Vicky is the alien in this film. He belongs to a different sphere and dimension. Throughout the movie he will remind you of the signature Anurag. He continuously whisked himself with other characters like he is the emblem of the director of 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. He is the man with a golden treasury of countenance. Last but not the least, Robbie aka Abhishek is wondrously expressive. His subtled and intense performance is his best of the lot for sure. Kudos Anurag! Fyaar hai to Pyaar bhi hai. Oh yes! Love you for dedicating 'Manmarziyaan' to the person who redefined love; Amrita Pritam.
