Crime is a subsidiary situation faced by every nation. There lies no hold on people committing crime, but when the crime rate in any nation increases, it becomes a matter to worry more than concern.

Here is how we (Indians) are progressing:

1. By slapping women for wearing short clothes and spreading obscenity:

Gauhar Khan, an Indian TV actress was slapped by a random stranger on the set of a reality show for wearing skimpy clothes.

2. By giving jobs to recorded rapist without a background check and identification proof:

A taxi driver from Uber services raped a woman and when she logged a complaint, it was highlighted that he had previous records filed against him for multiple rapes.

3. By Dharma Conversions and removing samasyas from the country

RSS Body recently sought donation for the conversion of Muslims and Christians into Hinduism from the country. According to Kanshinath Bansal, “Christianity is a samasya. Muslaim is also a samasya. One worker needs that much money to work on a samasya every year”.

4. By differentiating amongst different sexes:

Girls were not allowed to access AMU library as they might attract boys towards them.

5. By blaming the innocent:

Shweta Basu Prasad; according to media was caught red handed in some compromising situation and was blamed for prostitution though it was a false news. Shweta later confronted everyone through an open letter to the media telling her side of story.

6. By giving POVs on feminism and women’s cleavages

Deepika’s fight with TOI is not new for anyone. TOI made news out of deepika’s cleavage and later passed their POV when Deepika protested.

Development of a country is not counted as progress, but the mentality is.
