Towards the end of screw-up we all decide to quit on something or start something new in the coming year. Most of the time we forgo those resolutions we make, but that still doesn’t stop us from making a new one the next time.
1)
Going to quit drinkingThat is only possible for the initial one week after having thought of it, as the hangover from the party lasts a couple of days. This resolution in most cases goes out the window.
2)
Going to quick smokingSet aside the mental capability to do it, smokers just need any excuse to get back to the bud and they surely have enough reasons to kick the bud too. But it is never an easy task for them to quit as it helps them to “calm down the pressure”.
3)
Going to spend more time with spouseRealistically speaking, this is only possible if you are able to quit your job and have a nice bank balance to manage the affairs of the house. It is more important to manage your time and do things rather just talking in the air.
4)
Reduction on the number of partiesYou just don’t need an excuse to party, but saying that you will reduce the number of parties you attend is a big fat lie. Rarely do people decline social gatherings and it is not the best excuse for binge drinking.
5)
Going to work hard at officeWhat? Like really? This is such a clichéd resolution that it doesn’t derive anything less than big LOL.
6)
Going to save moreThis is another of those clichéd resolutions that deserve a big laugh. It is easy to say that you are going to save more, but only a careful planning can help you actually save.
7)
Lose weight and get fitIts always easy to say that you are going to start exercising next week or in the new year, but it’s the easiest thing to forget. Its better to take something for that memory loss.
8)
Learn something newHmmmm, you actually haven’t learnt anything all this year to say that you want to learn something new next year? Damn, you got us there. You learn something on a daily basis and it just depends on what extent you want to learn.
9)
Travel to new placesThis is one resolution that everyone likes to make and some of them are able to actually take a few trips. But for the rest of the public, when was the last time you actually took a trip? You will just realize that you need one right way. Just don’t plan, but do it.
10)
Volunteer workIt is easy to say that you are ready to do volunteer work, but when somebody comes for some form of donation you just decline. Its easy to say that you don’t believe the cause, but honestly speaking you don’t have the time to actually go and check what these NGOs are going.
