Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated that the sacrifices of the security personnel in the Pulwama terror attack will not go waste. Addressing a rally at Pandharkawada, in Yavatmal in Maharashtra, he said howsoever hard the patrons of this crime may try to hide, they will certainly be punished. Mr. Modi said, a country that came into existence after India's partition and is on verge of bankruptcy has become the other name of terrorism today.
India, he said, is committed to the security of the country and its development. Expressing sympathies with the families of the victims of the terror attacks, the Prime Minister said the nation is proud of our security forces and has full faith in them. The Prime Minister said the country understands the anguish of the army and CRPF personnel in particular. He said security forces have been given free hand to deal with the situation.
Earlier, Prime Minister inaugurated various development projects in Pandharkawda in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. Mr. Modi inaugurated the Eklavvya model residential school of Kinwat of Nanded district. The Prime Minister also handed over keys of houses to several beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana. The Ajni Pune Humsafar weekly train service was also flagged off through a video link. He also felicitated the beneficiaries of Maharashtra state rural Jivanonati mission by giving them certificates and cheques. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stones of various road projects. (AIR NEWS)
