SC asks CBI to file fresh status report on probe into SSC paper leak

The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the CBI to file a fresh status report on the investigation into the 2017 Staff Selection Commission (SSC) exam paper leak case.

A bench of Justices S A Bobde and S A Nazeer asked the probe agency to file the status report by April 23 and posted the matter for hearing on April 24.

The apex court on April 1st had allowed SSC to declare the result of a re-examination of 2017 SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) held last year.

The court is hearing a plea which has sought probe into the alleged paper leak of 2017 SSC (CGL) exam and scrapping of the paper. (AIR NEWS)
