Patna: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is going declare in the month of April. As per the report from chairman Anand Kishor, he said that only a 75% evaluation of answer copies of class X has been done. The evaluation process was stopped at all evaluation centers across the state after the lockdown announced by the Centre. The evaluation would likely to resume only after April 14.
In the year 2019, Bihar Board had released the results of class X and XII examinations in the month of March and April. Around 12.05 lakh candidates including 5.4 lakh girls appeared for Class XII board examinations, which held between February 3 and February 13 at 1,283 examination centers across the state. Altogether 15,29,393 students including 7,83,034 girls wrote class X exam from February 17 to February 24 at 1,368 exam centres in Bihar.
Earlier on March 24, despite the pandemic situation due to Covid- 19 spread, the BSEB had declared the intermediate results of all streams (science, commerce, and arts) in record time. The overall pass percentage has registered at 80.44%, the number of students who cleared the class XII examination has slightly improved by 0.68% in comparison to last year’s 79.76%.
Last year, the results of intermediate were declared on March 30. The pass percentage for arts has been recorded at 81.44%, commerce at 93.26% and science at 77.39% (INDIA ONLINE)
