New Delhi: Central Board of Secondary Education has announced a new notification regarding the 10th and 12th Board Exam 2020. As per the announcement, the board has made major changes in the exam pattern of the exam and as per the notification, students will get less descriptive and more objective type questions in almost all subjects however the difficulty level of the exam will remain the same.
There are few more changes, that have been announced by the board, such as, student will get 33% of internal choices i.e. out of 13-14 questions students have to attempt only 10 questions.
The question papers will comprise more two-mark questions and fewer five to eight marks and All CBSE X & XII subjects will have either internal assessments or practicals. The board has also increased the number of one-mark objective questions.
The board will shortly release the sample papers incorporating the new changes on its official website. As per the source, CBSE secretary, Anurag Tripathi said that the question papers will be developed scientifically without any compromise on quality.
In fact, with more objective type questions, the students will need more detailed study. With internal assessment/practicals, students will move out of the habit of rote learning and schools can engage them with more experiential learning. (INDIAONLINE)
