The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has approved the creation of additional new super speciality posts at its medical colleges at Sanathnagar in Telangana, KK Nagar in Chennai and Faridabad in Haryana.
It will help provide super speciality medical cares in medical colleges and hospitals besides cutting down tertiary case referrals. The decision was taken at a meeting held under the Chairmanship of Labour and Employment Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar.
The meeting also approved up-gradation of ESI Hospital at Durgapur of West Bengal from 150 to 250 bedded hospital. Besides, the proposal to start 3 Year DNB courses in Super-Speciality disciplines at ESIC Super Speciality Hospital, Sanathnagar has also been approved. (AIR NEWS)
