Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohd Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has said, the UAE-Egyptian relations are a robust tenet for regional security and stability.

He said, the two countries are working together to counter terrorism and extremism and to stand up to any attempts to meddle into the internal affairs of Arab countries.

The Crown Prince made this statement during his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi at Cairo. Amidst escalating tension between the US and Iran, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces has travelled to Egypt.

The Crown Prince said, targeting tankers and oil facilities is a grave development that poses a significant menacing threat to the entire world, not only to the affected countries.
The two leaders also reaffirmed their solidarity with Saudi Arabia against all attempts to undermine its security and stability. Egypt and the UAE have been strategic allies for a very long time.

In 2017, Egypt had joined UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in severing diplomatic ties with Qatar. (AIR NEWS)
