Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has been ranked the second best medical institute in the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings, 2023, by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. PGIMER, Chandigarh has been ranked 2nd position 6th time in a row from 2018 to 2023.
Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, released NIRF India Rankings 2023 today, in which, PGIMER, Chandigarh competed amongst premier Institutes throughout the country under the Medical category. AIIMS, New Delhi has been ranked First in this category and CMC, Vellore has been ranked third.
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranking parameters broadly cover “Teaching, Learning and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception.
