Assembly election results: All you need to know

All the results of Sikkim Assembly elections have been declared. Counting of votes in Arunachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Tamil Nadu by poll is still underway.

In 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly, YSR Congress has secured landslide victory getting 147 seats and leading in 4. The party President Jagan Mohan Reddy has won Pulivendla seat. The Ruling TDP could manage only 21 seats and leading in 2. Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has won from Kuppam while his son Nara Lokesh lost in Mangalagiri constituency.

In Odisha Assembly elections, the BJD has won 77 seats and is leading in 35 while BJP gets 16 and is leading in 8. Congress gets 7 seats and leading 1. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is leading by a margin of more than 56,577 votes from Bijepur.

Sikkim Krantikari Morcha has got a majority in the 32-member Sikkim Assembly by winning 17 seats followed by SDF with 15. Chief Minister Pawan Chamling has won both the seats of Poklok Kamrang and Namchi Singhithang.

In Arunachal Pradesh, the BJP has secured 32 seats in 60-member Assembly while it is leading in 1. The winner includes Chief Minister Pema Khandu. JDU has won 7 seats and is leading in one. Congress has managed to win 4 seats while the People's Party of Arunachal gets 1. National People's Party has bagged two seats and leading in 2.

In Tamil Nadu by poll, DMK has bagged 11 seats and is leading in 2 while AIADMK has got 7 seats and is leading in 2 (AIR NEWS)
