Minister of State for Agriculture Parshottam Rupala has asked the Delhi government to cooperate in implementing the newly launched central scheme Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN).

Under the scheme, six thousand rupees is paid in three equal installments annually to each farmer who owns land.

Replying to supplementaries in the Question Hour in Rajya Sabha today, Mr Rupala said, farmers in Delhi have not been able to get benefits from the PM-KISAN because the state government has not yet submitted the required data of registered farmers.

He said, Centre is ready to release funds once the data is submitted to the Union Agriculture Ministry.
