Civil 20 inception meeting under India G20 presidency to begin in Nagpur

In Maharashtra, delegates from across the globe have arrived yesterday for attending the C-20 inception summit to be held this afternoon in the Orange city and sub-capital city of the State- Nagpur. Civil Society- C-20 is one of the engagement groups working under G-20 secretariat which provides a platform for Civil Society organisations and NGOs to voice their concerns and brainstorm on various issues.

The international delegates were received with traditional welcome on their arrival at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur by senior officials of the District administration.C-20 Chairperson Mata and social and spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi along with representatives of civil society organizations from G-20 member countries were overwhelmed by this warm welcome from city.

The two-day meeting will be inaugurated this afternoon under the chairmanship of Mata Amritanandamayi and in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Nagpur.14 different topics prepared for C-20 will be discussed in this Inception meeting. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will attend the Valedictory function of the meeting on March 21st.Meanwhile, Nagpur city's major streets, and squares is illuminated with lights and display board to welcome the C-20 delegates.
