In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Kamal Nath will hoist the flag at a state level progamme in Motilal Nehru Stadium on the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day tomorrow.
Freedom fighters and families of soldiers of the state who laid down their lives in the Kargil war will be invited at the state level ceremony. Prior to this, the Chief Minister will pay tributes to the martyrs at Shaurya Smarak.
A combined parade of Police, SAF, CISF, Jail Guards, Home Guards, Scout and Guides and Shaurya Dal will be organized in the state-level ceremony.
All public buildings and monuments of national importance of the state are illuminated with decorative lights on the occasion of Independence Day. A cultural programme based on patriotism will also be organized in the open stage at Ravindra Bhavan in the evening. (AIR NEWS)
