The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has rescheduled the last date to change the CTET 2020 exam cities in the application form. As per the latest notification, the last date to change the CTET 2020 exam cities in the application form has been extended from November 16 to November 26.
The changes have been made for the candidates whose seats are allotted the nearest test centre for the CTET 2020 exam which originally was scheduled to be held on July 5 and will now be conducted on January 31.
To proceed with making changes in the CTET 2020 exam city aspirants can visit the official website of CTET 2020 at ctet.nic.in. Click on the tab that states “Click Here for Exam City Correction”. A new page will pop up where the candidates have to fill in their credentials (Application number, Password, and Security pin). Choose the city from where you want to appear for the CTET 2020 exam on the application form. Submit the page and keep the printout of the final page to get for future reference.
The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted every year twice by the CBSE for the recruitment of teachers across the country for various positions. However, the exam has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and of late the CBSE has also increased the total number of cities where the CTET 2020 exam would be conducted to 135.
In order to ensure the social distancing and safety of candidates, the CBSE has decided to conduct the CTET 2020 exam in 135 cities. The CBSE has added 23 more cities to the list where the CTET January 2021 exam will be held. (INDIAONLINE)
