Defence Minister, Army chief pay tribute to Lance Naik Mohammad Jawed

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Army Chief General Bipin Rawat paid tributes to martyred Lance Naik Mohammad Jawed by laying wreath at Palam Airport in New Delhi today. Yesterday, he was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries in ceasefire violation in Poonch Sector of Jammu and Kashmir by Pakistan.

In a tweet, Mr Singh said, he salutes India’s brave son and soldier, Lance Naik Jawed who made the supreme sacrifice while serving the nation. He said, his gallant deeds and devotion to duty will never be forgotten. Mr Singh said, we stand in solidarity with his bereaved family. (AIR NEWS)
