Delhi Traffic Police issues traffic advisory in view of inauguration of New Parliament Building

In view of the inauguration of the New Parliament Building, Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory to ensure traffic arrangements and smooth functions in the National Capital. Delhi Traffic Police said in its advisory that entry of vehicles in the New Delhi district is restricted by 3 PM on 28th May 2023. Only public transport vehicles and emergency vehicles are allowed to move in New Delhi District.

The areas which have been regulated are Mother Teresa Crescent Road, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Gol Dak Khana, Ashok Road, Patel Chowk, Ashok Road, Windsor Place, Janpath, Akbar Road, and Teen Murti Marg. Delhi Traffic Police urged people to avoid the regulated area and use public transport. Delhi Police has also set up pickets and tight security arrangements in order to maintain law and order in the National Capital. (AIR NEWS)
