In Bihar, flood situation has started improving in most of the affected areas due to the fall of water level in all major rivers of the state.
Heavy rainfall has also stopped in catchment areas of swelling rivers in Nepal and Bihar for the past three days. Except Budhi Gandak & Gandak rivers all are either showing a falling trend or in the static condition in their water level.
According to the Central Water Commission, the water level of Bagmati, Kamla, Balan, Bhutahi Balan, Lalbakeya, Adhwara, Kosi and Mahananda rivers are receding.
Bagmati, Kamala and Bhutahi Balan which shown an unprecedented rise in water level this year causing devastation are still flowing above the danger mark at several places. Flood has caused devastation and large scale damage to public and private properties in affected areas. (AIR NEWS)
