Google Playstore removes Paytm

Google removed the Paytm app from Playstore, citing that Paytm has been promoting online casinos and gambling. Google does not support or entertain any apps which promote online betting, casinos and other gambling activities. It is said that Google representatives had repeatedly warned Paytm and only after seeing no corrective steps from the payment wallet, did Google take this step.

Paytm, Paytm First Games were removed from Play Store. However, Paytm Mall, Paytm for Business will be available. Paytm has millions of users and this sudden move is expected to cause problems for them. While Paytm will not be available on Google Playstore, it will be found in the Apple store.
