Govt extends ITR filing date for Assessment Year 2019-20 till Nov 30

Government has further extended the last date for filing ITR for Assessment Year 2019-20 till 30th of November this year. Earlier the last date for filing the belated and revised ITRs for Financial Year ending on 31st March 2019 was 30th September.

The Income Tax department, in a statement, said that the decision was taken after further consideration of genuine difficulties being faced by the taxpayers due to the Covid-19 situation. (AIR)
