IGNOU re-registration 2021 started for the January session


Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released an application form for re-registration for the January 2021 session. The application form can be filled in online mode. Candidates, who wish to continue their studies in the next semester/year, need to opt for IGNOU 2021 re-registration from December 1.

To apply for the application form, visit the official website of IGNOU at On the left top of the homepage, click on the tab, "Online re-registration January 2021". The candidates will be redirected to wherein they need to enter their user name and password and click on the login button.

Candidates should note down that, re-registration has begun for most of the UG, PG courses. The council will release the application form for MP, MPB, and MCA courses in another two days.

Candidates must go through the instructions on the IGNOU portal before they begin their IGNOU re-registration process for January 2021 session. The IGNOU re-registration is a mandatory process through which candidates register for the next year or semester of a program.

Thus, it's only applicable to students enrolled in undergraduate, postgraduate, semester-based programs of two-three years duration. Candidates can re-register for the next year or semester irrespective of whether they have submitted the assignments or appeared in the term-end examination of the previous semester or not.  (INDIAONLINE)
