India condemns terrorist attack in Iraq


India has condemned the terrorist attack in Erbil, Iraq yesterday. External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, India has always opposed and rejected terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. India has urged concerted action by the international community against terrorism, including cross-border terrorism.

He extended condolences to the families of the deceased including a diplomat from Turkey. The Turkish vice-consul to Iraq's autonomous Kurdish region was among at least two persons shot dead in the regional capital Erbil, yesterday. (AIR NEWS)
