India today slammed Pakistan for unilaterally stopping postal mail service between the two nations, saying the move was in contravention of international norms.
Speaking to media on the sidelines of an event in New Delhi today, Union Minister for Communications and IT Ravi Shankar Prasad said, Pakistan resorted to the move without giving any prior notice to India. He said Pakistan's decision is directly in contravention of International Postal Union norms.
Mr Prasad said every country works under the norms of the World Postal Union. He said the Department of Posts has thought of an action in this regard. (AIR NEWS)
