Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kishan Reddy has said that India is going to hold an International conference on No Money for Terror next year.
Addressing a press conference in Visakhapatnam today, he said that in the recently concluded Home Minister’s conference held in Australia has decided not to give financial assistance to terrorists by the Banks.
He also expressed his concern over the activities of Pakistan which has been extending support for cross border terrorism and funding terrorists by indulging in fake currency and drug trafficking.
Explaining the various government initiatives taken by the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government, he said, Sab Ka Saath, Sab Ka Vikas is working for the uplift of the poor and the drown trodden in the society.
The Minister further said, Article 370, Triple Talaq and Ayodhya issues also helped to build the image of the Modi Government. He made it clear that the Central Government firmly believes in the federal system. Hence, it will support states by all means for their development.
The Minister said the efforts are being made so as to make BJP as an alternative in both the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Central Government is committed to the development of both the states, he added.
Earlier, in the morning he also participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on the beach road. (AIR NEWS)
