Indian Cost guard Naval DB medical exam date postponed

New Delhi: The Indian Navy, Minister of Defence has postponed the final Medical Examination of Navik (general duty) till further notice. The decision has been made due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The exam for (DB)-01/2-2020 batch was going to be conducted on April 17, 2020.

The exam was going to be held at INS Chilka and candidates must keep track on the official website of the council at www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in

According to the official statement

Indian Coast Guard offers an opportunity for 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Central/State government with minimum 50% aggregate marks (5% relaxation in minimum cut off will be given for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports personnel of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/Inter-state National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service). (INDIA ONLINE)
