A Delhi court today extended the judicial custody of former Finance Minister P Chidambaram in the INX Media case lodged by the Central Bureau of Investigation. Special judge Ajay Kumar Kuhar extended Chidambaram's custody in the corruption case filed by the CBI.
Meanwhile, the court reserved order on the plea of Enforcement Directorate seeking 14-day custodial interrogation of Chidambaram in the case. The Special judge is scheduled to pronounce the order shortly.
The probe agency has sought 14-day custodial interrogation of the 74-year old senior Congress leader. The court had yesterday issued a production warrant against him in the ED. (AIR NEWS)
