Senior BJP Leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress Chief Ms. Mamata Banerjee is indulging in politics of violence.

Addressing an election rally at Taki in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal this afternoon, Mr. Modi said that Ms. Banerjee had threatened BJP of revenge and yesterday's incidents during the road show of Party President Amit Shah happened within 24 hours of that statement by Ms Banerjee.

Mr. Modi said that the entire nation is discussing the issue now. Mr. Modi said that the violence reflects that the Trinamool Congress Chief is scared seeing people’s support to the BJP. Mr. Modi also said the BJP led Government will identify the infiltrators and give citizenship to all minority refugees.

Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress Chief Ms. Mamata Banerjee criticized the BJP for damaging the statue of Vidyasagar. She said that yesterday’s incident was pre-planned by the BJP. AIR Kolkata Correspondent reports that several organizations condemned the incident in Vidyasagar College in Kolkata and vandalism at educational institutions. (AIR NEWS)
