A massive fire broke out in a factory at the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) in Sinnar taluka in Nashik district of Maharashtra on Friday.
According to reports, the fire broke out at about 4 pm at the Adima Organic Chemical Manufacturing Company, located on Musalgaon Sinnar Expressway.
All 50 to 60 workers present in the factory at the time of fire are reported to be safe and no injuries or casualties have been reported.
Five fire tenders are on-site to contain the massive blaze. Police, revenue and medical personnel are also present at the spot.
The fire also caused sporadic explosions, triggering panic and chaos in the area. Due to the fire, the entire MIDC area was covered with smoke. The fire is estimated to have caused a loss of millions to the factory. The exact cause of the fire remains unclear. (AIR NEWS)
