MP govt to provide Rs 5000 as minimum aid to calamity-hit farmers


The Madhya Pradesh government has announced to provide 5,000 rupees in minimum compensation to small and marginal farmers in the event of crop loss due to natural calamities.

Talking to reporters in Bhopal, State Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput said, the state government has made amendments in rules to this effect. He said, the government had also taken measures like filling up vacant posts of Patwaris to fast track the redressed of matters pertaining to land. (AIR NEWS)
