Mukesh Ambani resigns as director of Jio, Akash Ambani becomes chairman

Industrialist Mukesh Ambani has resigned as director of Reliance Jio. Meanwhile, Reliance Jio India Limited has approved the appointment of non-executive director Akash M Ambani as chairman of the company's board of directors.

Aakash Ambani's appointment will take effect from June 27. Also, Pankaj Mohan Pawar will take over as the Managing Director of the company from June 27. The company's board has approved the appointment of a new chairman and MD. (INDIAONLINE)
