N Chandrababu Naidu placed under house arrest in view of his party's Guntur rally

In a recent political development in Telangana, Telugu Desam Party President, N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son.

Lokesh has been placed in preventive detention at their residence, to stop them from organising an agitation in Guntur District in Andhra Pradesh.

Simultaneously, some leaders of the ruling YSR Congress were also detained in Guntur as they too gave a call for protest programme to counter the TDP cadre.

The TDP President Chandrababu Naidu had planned to lead a group of people belonging to Palnadu region of Guntur District to a village, Atmakur.

On the other hand, Chandrababu Naidu says, he is demanding justice for the people in Atmakur village in Guntur District where he is trying to express the solidarity of the people.

Police forces have been deployed in Atmakur and also in Palnadu Region to prevent any untoward incident.
