The National medical entrance exam NEET has been postponed has announced to postpone the NEET 2020 exam that was going to be conducted on 3rd May 2020. NEET is conducted for admissions to undergraduate MBBS, BDS and AYUSH programs as well as veterinary courses in various medical colleges around India.
The decision has been made to protect students against the amid spread of coronavirus infection. The new dates have not been announced yet, however, it will be decided after the situation regarding the Coronavirus pandemic normalizes.
The HRD minister’s tweet states that he has asked the National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts NEET and JEE to postpone the exams till the last week of May. He also encourages students to stay at home and utilize the Covid-19 lockdown time to study for the postponed exams. (INDIA ONLINE)
