The Indian stand-up comedians made a place in the hearts of the young India. Though, the technique is very much borrowed from the West, we eagerly wait for the “Indian” punch lines and the satire. They have gathered a lot of popularity over the time, breaking the shackles of typical “slapstick comedy” which hugely dominated the comedy in India. Luckily, now scenarios have changed and people have taken up microphones to make people laugh. Here are some of them who are taking comedy seriously.
1. Vir Das
The NRI Das brought with him a baggage full of humour for the Indian audience. In case you feel you have seen him somewhere, in some movie you can’t recollect, it must be movies like, “Delhi Belly” or “Go Goa Gone”. Yes, that funny kid did comedy shows like Brown Men Can't Hump, Not for Members Only, Bored of The Things! Who Let the Das Out?, Son of a Switch! and VIRagra. All of them written, directed and presented by him.
Here is a glimpse of his talent.
2. Papa CJ

3. Rohan Joshi
The charm of the chocolate-boy doesn’t limit to the cute smile and we know that, don’t we? The co-founder of AIB enthralls the audience with his witty humour. And, common on, he is the part of AIB, you know what he is capable of.
If you don’t, here you go.
