Even the coolest people get mad at times and it’s pretty normal. At last we all are human beings working our ass off to get ‘Roti Kapda aur Makan’
. Those 8 to 9 hours a day take us on a long ride and even the ones who are extremely enthusiastic about their work, feel low at times. But, what keeps us cool while we work is nothing but a pinch of ‘Right Attitude’
in everything we do.
Basically attitude defines you and the best part of it is that you can always adapt it in your life unless you are a super stubborn person.We are not going to give you a long lecture on your attitude but will make you think that is your attitude right?
1. When you enter your office?
"Oh God, not again, that same place, same people and same work".
Besides saying this, what if you start your day with a sweet smile on your pretty face?
2. When your Boss is after your life?
"Mera Boss itna khadoos hai, ye hai, vo hai"
errrr...Stop! We know it's difficult but not impossible to stay calm and say, “All izz well”
. And remember, sab ki lagti hai alag alag time par
3. When you feel either killing that person or yourself?
Besides cribbing to other colleague, carry a Devil-May-Care attitude. Believe us, you will be the happiest person at your workplace.
4. When you have too much of work pressure?
“Listen, I can’t help you, can’t you see I am working right now”
. Chill...there are other people like you, having the same pressure. “Bhagwaan ne sara boj apko hi nahi diya hai”
5. When you feel emotionally weak?
“Kal meri usse ladai hogai, usne mere saath itna bura kardia, etc.”
Never share your personal life with your colleagues. But, hold on, that doesn’t mean you will stay mum. “samajdaar ko ishara kafi hai.”
6. When you face criticism?
Besides shouting, crying and cribbing, think again and work on your weaknesses. Always remember, “Kamiyaan hum sab mein hoti hai”
so words like, “Sorry, I will work hard, I will correct it, Thank you...”
are always welcomed.
7. When you feel moody or restless?
Hungry equals to cranky so keeping a good stock of food along with a water bottle at your desk will keep you charged for the day. “Bas, mote mat hojana”
8. When you feel less confident?
Communicate with people around you. No doubt, mails, texts and instant messages are very convenient but they all are hollow forms of communication. Instead of emailing and waiting for the reply, walk to your colleague’s desk and have a face to face conversation.
9. When you are unable to meet deadlines?
“Oh FU#*! Its 4pm and I still haven’t submitted my report, I can’t take this shit anymore now.”
It happens but let’s try to keep ourselves away from these scary deadlines by carrying ‘Never Say Die’
10. When you are waiting for the lunch break?
Besides elbowing people out of the way, wait for your turn, you won’t be left out hungry.
11. When you Compete with other colleagues?
“Oh, I will not let her go ahead in this project”
! Please don’t become a Bi*#%% like this. Just think, he/she also wants growth, in the same way you want. So, play it cool, let the ball rotate.
12. When you feel disorganized?
We all get mad when our workplace is in mess. There should be nothing on your desk except these things: Your laptop/desktop, writing pad, pen and you
! It’s all sorted then.
13. When somebody talks rudely?
“How dare you to talk to me like that”?
Stop! Saying it politely that you will not accept this kind of attitude is a better way to end tiffs in office. Simple!
14. When it’s time to leave office?
Good or bad, leave everything here itself. You have a personal life too my dear.
