Pakistan resorts to ceasefire violation in J&K's Poonch district

In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan resorted to yet another incident of ceasefire violation by starting indiscriminate and unprovoked firing in the border district of Poonch in Jammu Division today.

About 11 a.m. Pakistani troops initiated ceasefire violation by firing small arms and shelling with mortars in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district.

However, Indian troops retaliated and returned the fire effectively to silence the Pak guns. When reports last came in the exchange of fire was going on. However, no loss of life or injury to anyone was reported from the Indian side. (AIR NEWS)
