PM Modi expresses grief over demise of BJP leader Girish Bapat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief at the demise of BJP leader Girish Bapat on Wednesday. In a tweet, Mr Modi remembered Bapat as a humble and hardworking leader who served society diligently. The Prime Minister added that he also worked extensively for the development of Maharashtra and was particularly passionate about Pune's growth.

Mr Modi also noted Bapat as an approachable MLA who raised issues of public welfare. Extending his condolences to Bapat's family and supporters, Mr Modi expressed hope that his good work will keep motivating people. (AIR NEWS)
