PM Modi to chair Cabinet followed by Council of Ministers meet today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold the first meeting of new Council of Ministers in New Delhi today.

During the meeting, Mr Modi is likely to outline the road-map and action plan of his government. The meeting of Council of Ministers was a regular feature in the previous tenure of the Narendra Modi government.

On Monday, the Prime Minister had interacted with all Secretaries to the Union Government and asked them to prepare a five-year plan document for each Ministry with well-defined targets.

The Union Cabinet will also meet today ahead of the Council of Ministers' meeting. (AIR NEWS)
