Prez, PM, VP & Home Minister pay tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. The Prime Minister said, Swami Vivekananda's life always inspires for patriotism, spirituality, and hard work. He said, Swami ji's great thoughts and ideals will continue to guide the countrymen.

President Droupadi Murmu has also paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. She said, an iconic personality who combined spirituality and patriotism, Swami Vivekananda has propagated Indian values globally.

The President said, Swami ji's life and teachings continue to inspire youth to follow their dreams and achieve greater goals.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary.

Mr. Dhankhar said, Swami Ji's life itself was a message and he still inspires scores of people all over the world to dedicate oneself to a cause beyond worldly existence. He also expressed his greetings to the nation’s youth on National Youth Day.

Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has paid tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. Wishing the people on the National Youth Day, Mr. Shah said, Swami ji's thoughts always inspires youth for nationalism, spirituality, dutifulness, and nation-building.

He said, Swami Vivekananda gave ideas to connect spirituality with modernity along with awakening national consciousness among the youth. He said, Swami Vivekananda was a fierce critic of casteism and social ostentatious and was in favour of social harmony.

He said, Swami Vivekananda's immense knowledge and inspiring thoughts will remain a center of inspiration for the youth for ages. (AIR NEWS)
