Secretary MeitY assures that privacy concerns about Aarogya Setu app are unfounded

Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney assured the people that privacy concerns about Aarogya Setu app were unfounded.

Speaking exclusively to AIR News, he said that that there were specific guidelines for use and sharing of data collected through the app. He added that the data would only be used in the fight against COVID-19 and to make various facilities available to the people. (AIR)
