news

Severe cold wave conditions are likely to grip parts of North India, including the national capital region for the next 3 days. According to the India Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature is likely to settle around 3 degree Celsius in Delhi and adjoining areas of the national capital. The weather agency also predicted dense fog and low visibility over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, north Rajasthan and north Uttar Pradesh for the next five days.

IMD said due to north-westerly winds from the Himalayas over the plains of northwest India, minimum temperatures are very likely to fall by 2-4 degree Celsius over the northwest and adjoining central India during the next two days. Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir are likely to see moderate to light rainfall or snowfall from 18th January. (AIR NEWS)
