The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a new notification related to the SSC SI 2018 Review Medical Examination (RME). As per the notification, the Review Medical Examination (RME) of candidates whose appeal has been accepted by the Appellate Authority is scheduled from November 23 to December 07, 2020.
The Review Medical Examination will be conducted by the Nodal Agency i.e. Border Security Force (BSF). The RME will be conducted for candidates of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2018.
Candidates who have qualified as SSC Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Paper 2, are eligible to appear for the SSC SI Review Medical Examination.
SSC SI Medical Exam will consist of an eye check and other health examinations. The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 (better eye) and 6/9 (worse eye). In a right-handed person, the right eye is a better eye and vice versa.
The standards should be without visual correction of any kind, even with glasses. The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in the eyes. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties. (INDIAONLINE)
