Telangana Legislative Assembly today passed three Bills replacing ordinances relating to Municipal Laws, Regulation of Age of Superannuation, and State Commission for Debt Relief during its special session.
The bills are meant for facilitating more divisions in Municipalities, increasing the retirement age of professors in Medical Colleges to 65 years and facilitating an Agriculture Exert in place of the retired High Court Judge in the State Commission for Debt Relief relating to small farmers and rural artisans.
Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao also introduced the Telangana Municipalities Bill 2019 in the lower house of the state Legislature.
The Assembly will consider the bill tomorrow for passing the same. The bill aimed at improving transparency and answerability of the Urban Local Bodies besides consolidate and provide constitution of Municipalities other than Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation in the state. (AIR NEWS)
