Trichy Siva demands government to send TN Govt’s resolution seeking relaxation from NEET exam

Rajya Sabha member Trichy Siva today demanded the government to send the Tamil Nadu Government’s resolution seeking relaxation from NEET examinations to the President immediately.

Raising the issue during Zero Hour, he said that the NEET exams did not get the desired results, as out of 13 lakhs student appeared 6 lakhs students have passed and they have gone to coaching centres.

Siva alleged that these coaching centres charge around 2 Lakh rupees. Students those who cannot afford this amount and who have secured enough mark in their 12th Standard exams are affected because of it. The member also said that in Tamil Nadu around 5 students have committed suicide on this issue. (AIR NEWS)
