Indian Oil Chairman Shrikant Madhav Vaidya has said that the twin-cooktop model of Solar Cooker launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will help in reducing dependence on the import of LGP.
Talking to AIR News at the India Energy Week in Bengaluru, Mr Vaidya said at present India is importing more than 50 percent gas from outside the world. He said that with this kind of initiative, India will move towards Atmnirbhar Bharat and also help in reducing the greenhouse gases coming from LPG.
Over the Ethanol blending, he said that whatever the targets India has set in this direction will be achieved. (AIR NEWS)
