The results of UGC-NET examination have been announced. The examination, held by National Testing Agency last month, was conducted in 81 subjects.
A total number of over six lakh 81 thousand candidates appeared and 50 thousand 945 candidates qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor.
Human Resource Development Ministry, in a release, said four thousand 756 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and are now eligible for Assistant Professor.
The Ministry said, the examination was conducted in Computer Based Test mode to reduce the burden of examinees. (AIR)
